LBS Bina To Plant 1 Million Trees By 2030
LBS Bina Group Berhad takes a significant step towards greater sustainability practices with the official launch of the LBS Green Mission. This initiative aims to serve as an umbrella for all environmental efforts in ESG, aligning the Group with the latest environmental practices and paving the way for a greener future for all.
Group Managing Director and CEO of LBS, Datuk Wira Joey Lim Hock Guan, states that the LBS Green Mission reflects their commitment to the environment segment in sustainability.
They encourage all stakeholders to join them in this journey to achieve a greener and sustainable future together. Through this initiative, LBS commits to planting 1 million trees by 2030, inspired by the government’s 100 million tree planting initiative.
The unique aspect of this initiative is the incorporation of their employee engagement arm, Heroes for Change, which ensures that every employee participates in LBS’ journey to make the world a greener place. The event also marks the launch of the LBS Green Mission’s first activity, “One, Two… Plant a Tree.”
