According to the report, notable trends in Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Indonesia include “Flexi-shopping,” where consumers prioritize health and sustainability, even amid rising inflation.

Plant-based options have gained traction as consumers seek healthier choices, with the global plant-based beverage category predicted to grow by 1.9% by 2024. The “Eatertainment” trend highlights consumers’ desire for entertainment and exploration of new flavors, recipes, and trends, often through online platforms and social media.



Brands are encouraged to engage with consumers on popular entertainment platforms and leverage social influencers to promote the latest food trends. The report also covers additional trends such as “Life Hacks,” “Replenish and Repair,” “Climatarianism,” “Green Clarity,” “Un-masking Identities,” and “Evolving Spaces.” Tetra Pak will share the Trendipedia report with its customers to help them align with evolving consumer trends.
