Top Glove Wins Gold Award for Special Project
Top Glove’s environmental efforts were honored at the Prime Minister’s Hibiscus Award 2021/2022 (PMHA). The company received top honors in the Special Project Category and two awards for Notable Achievement in Environmental Performance.
Factory 30 won Gold in the Special Project Category for its initiative to transform nitrile residual waste into value-added rubber products, resulting in significant carbon emission reduction and land space mitigation.
Top Glove is committed to sustainability, with 18 factories certified with ISO 14001:2015 and more expected to follow.

The company’s sustainability initiatives align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action) and include a Net Zero Carbon target and reduction in carbon emission intensity. Top Glove has also partnered with Shizen Malaysia for solar PV installations across its factories.
The Prime Minister’s Hibiscus Award is Malaysia’s premier private sector environmental award, recognizing businesses’ environmental management and performance.
