Malaysia, Pakistan agree to boost ties in trade and investment, says Anwar
Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim disclosed that Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif proposed strengthening bilateral ties, particularly in trade and investment, during a recent phone call.

Both leaders expressed optimism for enhanced relations and Shehbaz invited Anwar for an official visit to Pakistan.
Anwar welcomed Pakistan’s interest in exporting halal meat to Malaysia and highlighted discussions on regional issues like Gaza and Afghanistan.
“In the phone conversation, we both wanted to explore opportunities to strengthen Malaysia-Pakistan ties, especially in the field of trade and investment. “Praying that relations between Malaysia and Pakistan will continue to grow for mutual benefit, Insya Allah,” he said in his Facebook post.
