JAZRO Robotic Academy Secures RM1.2 Million Investment for Expansion

KUALA LUMPUR, 3 October 2024: JAZRO Robotic Academy (JAZRO), a pioneering robotics education startup, has secured RM1.2 million from Gobi Partners via the Gobi Dana Impak Ventures (GDIV) fund backed by Khazanah Nasional Berhad. Founded in 2020 by Ir. Dzulfarqeish Bin Zainuddin and co-founders Yasser Rabanie and Khoirun Nisah, JAZRO aims to provide inclusive robotic education, addressing the gap in Malaysia’s educational landscape.

Since its inception, the academy has reached over 50,000 students across various locations, including Kerteh and Cyberjaya, offering a curriculum that fosters hands-on learning in robotics and coding. Notably, JAZRO has tailored programs for autistic children, enhancing their cognitive and social skills through specialized instruction.

CEO Ir. Dzulfarqeish expressed gratitude for the investment, emphasizing its role in accelerating growth and innovation. PETRONAS Innovation Garage’s CEO, Zafirah Bahiyyah Zulkifli, commended JAZRO’s impactful contribution to education.
