KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, 28 May 2024 – Payroll providers in Malaysia are increasingly recognizing the transformative potential of AI and automation in payroll processes.

According to Employment Hero’s 2024 report, 81% of Malaysian payroll professionals find reducing payroll processing time through AI and automation appealing, and 78% anticipate increased use of these technologies within the next year.

The report highlights that 40% of payroll providers identify troubleshooting payroll errors as their most common challenge. Despite fears of job displacement, 60% of respondents believe AI will enhance their data analysis skills, and 56% see increased opportunities for professional development.
