AICB launched the AICB–Ecosystm AI in Practice: How Malaysia’s Banks & DFIs are Adopting and Governing AI report

The Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) today convened more than 1,000 banking, audit and regulatory leaders at the 4th Malaysian Banking Conference (MBC 4.0) and 2nd Bank Audit Conference (BAC 2.0), officiated by YB Senator Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan, Minister of Finance II, with Dato’ Seri Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour, Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia, delivering the opening address.

The conferences brought together industry leaders to discuss trusted AI adoption, governance, cybersecurity, workforce readiness and the future of banking and assurance.

AICB also launched the AICB–Ecosystm AI in Practice: How Malaysia’s Banks & DFIs are Adopting and Governing AI report, providing fresh insights into AI adoption and governance across Malaysia’s banking sector.
