PM Anwar Ibrahim accorded an official welcome at Kremlin
Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim received an official welcome at the Kremlin during his four-day visit to Russia, highlighting a key step in strengthening Malaysia-Russia diplomatic ties. Anwar met with President Vladimir Putin for a restricted meeting, followed by a working lunch and delegation talks. A joint press conference is scheduled. Anwar’s delegation includes several key Malaysian ministers, while Putin is accompanied by top Russian officials. The visit, which began on May 13, also included a bilateral meeting between Anwar and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
