KUALA LUMPUR, 12th June 2024 – BROKU, a leading F&B branding and marketing strategist in Malaysia, is raising RM 20 million to expand its operations over the next 12 to 18 months.
The funds will enhance marketing, customer acquisition, and technology, as well as grow the team in Malaysia. Retail Group Malaysia reports a 13.5% growth in F&B kiosks and stalls in 2023, aligning with the company’s mission to support MSMEs.
BROKU has transformed nearly 10,000 restaurants and raised an additional RM 2.566 million from angel investors. The company aims to list 50,000 merchants on its new digital marketplace within 12 months.
The BLP – licensing programme, launched in April 2023, has already helped 200 companies improve business skills and financial literacy. The program aims to support 3,000 merchants, with participants seeing a 35.6% average revenue increase.
