Bursa Malaysia Berhad has launched an API Gateway to enhance the efficiency of the Central Depository System (CDS) account management by brokers, improving the onboarding process for investors. This initiative aims to streamline account opening, updating, and reactivation, enabling quicker trading opportunities.
It also supports brokers in digitalizing processes, improving customer experience, and promoting sustainability. CEO Datuk Muhamad Umar Swift emphasized the Exchange’s commitment to customer-centric innovations. Currently, five brokers have adopted the service.
