CIMB Group has committed RM3.6 million over two years to support 9,000 residents across four Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) in Klang Valley under the Program Satu Pemimpin Satu Kampung (Santuni MADANI) initiative. This government-driven programme aims to bridge socioeconomic gaps through financial aid, education, and capacity-building efforts.

CIMB’s initiatives focus on economic empowerment and education, including:
• Entrepreneurship training through programs like Keusahawanan CIMB Islamic and iTEKAD CIMB Islamic Rider Entrepreneur.
• Upskilling for single mothers and micro-entrepreneurs via MicroBizReady and Upskill Training.
• Educational support through free tuition for B40 students, teacher training, and literacy programs.
• Basic needs assistance, such as food aid (Program Bakul Makanan) and school supplies (Back-to-School Programme).
Bukit Jalil
The launch event at PPR Pinggiran Bukit Jalil 2 was attended by key figures, including Finance Minister II, Kuala Lumpur’s Mayor, and CIMB’s leadership. The initiative aligns with the government’s goal of reducing poverty, unemployment, and school dropouts while fostering sustainable livelihoods.
