On October 17, 2024, DataStax launched the DataStax AI Platform, developed with NVIDIA AI, to significantly accelerate AI application development. The platform is designed to cut AI development time by 60% and handle workloads 19 times faster, providing enterprises with tools to create AI that improves in accuracy as customers interact with it.
Built with NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, this platform streamlines the process of building AI applications, allowing companies to use their enterprise data effectively. It simplifies the AI development lifecycle—from data ingestion to ongoing model training—resolving common issues with tool complexity and workflow scalability.
Notably, PhysicsWallah, an education platform in India, uses the DataStax AI platform to support a 50x increase in traffic while delivering personalized learning experiences to over 20 million students. Chet Kapoor, CEO of DataStax, emphasized the platform’s ability to reduce development costs and speed up AI deployment, while Kari Briski from NVIDIA highlighted its role in enabling rapid AI application development.
The platform integrates NVIDIA NeMo for training large language models (LLMs) and machine learning models, helping companies refine their AI to produce more relevant and accurate outcomes based on real-time customer interactions.
