The Dubai Taxi Co PJSC (DTC) has introduced a new service for people of determination (POD), allowing them to book regular taxis through the “DTC App.” This initiative aims to enhance the mobility of individuals with non-motor disabilities by providing an alternative to specialized taxis.
Users with the Sanad card for people of determination can access the service efficiently and avail of a 50% discount, aligning with DTC’s commitment to improving services for POD. The launch reflects the company’s social responsibility and dedication to smart initiatives that support government goals, ultimately boosting the happiness and quality of life for people of determination.
Abdullah Ibrahim Al Meer, Acting Chief Business Transformation Officer at DTC, highlighted the company’s dedication to providing innovative and proactive services, meeting the growing demand for transportation services for POD.
The “DTC App” offers a convenient and swift means for residents, visitors, and tourists with disabilities to access regular taxi services, enhancing their mobility with speed and flexibility. The app is available for download on Android and iOS platforms.
“DTC has always strived to align its services with the needs of people of determination, in compliance with the highest global standards, and we will continue to do so to provide them with top-tier transportation services and contribute significantly to Dubai’s reputation as an inclusive city for people of determination” says Abdullah Ibrahim Al Meer, Acting Chief Business Transformation Officer at DTC.
