George Kent (Malaysia) Berhad reported a strong first quarter FY2025 with RM30.27 million revenue, driven by robust Metering business growth.
Metering revenue rose to RM29.11 million, with a 69% increase in operating profit. The Group’s Class C and D meters are performing well domestically and in international markets. George Kent’s Vietnam assembly plant and AMR orders are expected to boost performance further.

The Engineering Division is targeting new government contracts. Executive Chairman Tan Sri Tan Kay Hock stated, “We continue to build on our strong foundation, leveraging innovation to explore growth in renewable energy, AI, and data solutions.”
