Grange Studio Wins Top Prize and $5,000 at UTON HACK 4.0 Hackathon for AI-Powered Gas Fee Predictor

The UTON HACK 4.0 Hackathon, a global blockchain development competition, concluded with Singapore’s Grange Studio winning the first prize of US$5,000 for their AI-powered Gas Fee Predictor. Indonesia’s Mawi team took second place and US$3,000 with their “Play to Earn Game Aggregator,” while Thailand’s Double X won US$1,000 for third place with their “Lightweight Blockchain Explorer.”

Organized by the UTON Blockchain Foundation and co-hosted by various international partners, the competition attracted innovative digital technology solutions. Xu Jingdong, Director of Blockchain Research Institute at Shanghai Heshu Information Technology Co., Ltd, highlighted the hackathon’s role in discovering new global blockchain talents and emphasized Malaysia’s potential to be a hub for blockchain technology development.

Grange Studio Wins

The event also discussed blockchain’s economic impact, with projections of reaching US$175 billion by 2025 and creating 40 million jobs by 2030. Malaysia’s National Blockchain Roadmap was emphasized for its focus on trade facilitation, halal tracking, vaccine tracking, and other industries. Cooperation between Malaysia and China on blockchain development was also highlighted, with potential growth in bilateral trade.

UTON Blockchain founder Tang Yi explained blockchain’s evolution, from cryptocurrency in Blockchain 1.0 to programmable finance in Blockchain 2.0, and its current integration into complex business solutions in Blockchain 3.0. The fusion of blockchain and artificial intelligence was noted as an emerging field with potential for security, efficiency, and value creation.
