Infinaxis Data Centre Platform, a joint venture established by a fund managed by Gaw Capital Partners and its partners, celebrated the groundbreaking of its first data center project, Infinaxis Data Centre, located in the tech hub of Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
Formed in February 2023, the platform’s goal is to invest in greenfield assets across Southeast Asia to build a portfolio of Tier-3 certified data centers. The initial investment includes two greenfield sites covering 12,490 square meters. The first phase aims to develop a 12 MW IT Load IDC facility with a GFA of 17,427 sqm, expected to be completed in Q2 2025.
The second plot is reserved for future expansion. Over 80% of phase 1 has already been committed through signed leases and customer letters of intent. Kenneth Gaw, President and Managing Principal of Gaw Capital Partners, emphasized their commitment to Malaysia’s digital economy and Southeast Asia’s digital transformation.
