Kuala Lumpur, 29 August 2025 – ISP Group of Companies, a sustainability-focused group that develops and owns strategic assets in Logistics Warehouses and Manufacturing Hubs (LWMH) and Purpose-Built Workers Accommodations (PBWA), has been named Company of the Year (Accommodation & Logistics – Community Welfare Award) at the 10th Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2025.
The award was presented by YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, Deputy Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development, at a ceremony held at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Organised by CSR Malaysia in collaboration with Pertubuhan Amal TanggungjawabKemapanan Dan Korporat Malaysia, the annual awards recognise corporations that demonstrate meaningful commitment to sustainability, governance, and community-focused initiatives.
Launched in 2024, Nourish with Hope, ISP Cares! has reached over 120 low-income families in Sekinchan, delivering more than RM216,000 worth of essential food supplies, school materials, and daily necessities. Now in its third cycle, the initiative has evolved from an emergency aid programme during the pandemic into a structured effort addressing food security, education, and community resilience.
Eric Ng, Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of ISP Holding Sdn Bhd, said, “Our work doesn’t stop at building infrastructure. We believe in building opportunities, resilience, and dignity for the communities we serve. This award reaffirms that corporate success must go hand-in-hand with social responsibility.”
Beyond community programmes, ISP continues to integrate sustainability into its property developments. Its PBWA projects are designed to improve worker living conditions while reducing carbon footprint, while its LWMH developments incorporate energy-efficient features, natural lighting, rainwater harvesting, and solar integration. The Group also applies ethical labour practices aligned with international accommodation and safety standards.
“With nine LWMH and four PBWA under our portfolio, ISP aims to demonstrate how industrial property development can deliver both economic and social value,” Eric Ng added.
The Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2025 highlight the achievements of Malaysian companies that contribute to the country’s sustainable growth. ISP’s recognition reflects the growing expectation for businesses to embed environmental and social considerations in their core strategies.
“This award is a milestone, but it is also a responsibility. Our goal is to scale our impact as we expand, ensuring that every new project contributes positively to both our industry and the communities we touch,” he concluded.
