Kuala Lumpur, 09 August 2024 – In celebration of Merdeka, De.Wan 1958 by Chef Wan is set to introduce its Jiwa Muhibbah set menu, a specially curated dining experience that embodies the spirit of unity and national pride. This exclusive menu, crafted by the renowned Chef Wan, also known as Datuk Redzuawan Ismail, is designed to bring together Malaysians of all backgrounds through the shared love of food.
The Jiwa Muhibbah set menu features a selection of delectable dishes that highlight the diverse culinary heritage of Malaysia, including Ikan Siakap Stim Nyonya, Daging Salai Lemak Cili Padi, Crispy Lemon Chicken, Sotong Kari Masala, and Tempe Goreng. Each dish has been thoughtfully selected to represent the unity of different cultures, showcasing influences from Malay, Chinese, and Indian cuisines.
An exclusive preview of the Jiwa Muhibbah set was held for members of the media this afternoon. Spearheading the session was Muhammad Nazri bin Redzuawan, better known as Chef Riz, Group Executive Sous Chef at De.Wan 1958, who also provided rich insights and history behind each of the dishes.
Chef Riz said “The Jiwa Muhibbah set menu is a reflection of our diverse culinary heritage and the spirit of togetherness that defines Malaysia. Each dish has been thoughtfully selected and crafted alongside our co-founder Chef Wan to celebrate our unique flavours and bring people together in the true essence of ‘muhibbah’.

The Jiwa Muhibbah set menu will be available from August 17 to September 30 at all De.Wan 1958 outletsand is available for RM588++ for 4 people and RM1188++ for 10 people.
