LBS Bina Group Berhad has awarded a RM104 million EPCC contract to Solarvest Holdings Berhad for a 43MWp solar farm in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan, marking its entry into renewable energy under the Corporate Green Power Programme (CGPP). The project, expected to generate 53,000MWh of clean energy annually and offset 35,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions, will be completed by the end of next year and provide 53,000 Renewable Energy Certificates.
LBS Bina emphasizes its “commitment to sustainability and a forward-thinking approach to business development.” Tan Sri Ir Dr Lim Hock San highlighted the importance of the partnership with Solarvest, known for its reliable project delivery. Davis Chong Chun Shiong, Solarvest’s executive director, noted the CGPP’s role in supporting corporate sustainability goals and the company’s ability to deliver the project efficiently, even in challenging terrains.
Solarvest’s EPCC order book currently stands at RM582 million, with plans for more projects under the CGPP.
