ROSEN Achieves Full HSE Action Closure Across Asia Pacific

SHAH ALAM, 27 Oct 2026 – ROSEN Group has achieved a 100% Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) action closure rate across its Asia Pacific operations, marking a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.

Announced during HSE Day 2026 in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, the achievement reflects ROSEN’s success in identifying, reporting and addressing workplace risks within stipulated deadlines. The company reported a substantial improvement from a 70% closure rate recorded in September, driven by stronger employee participation in safety observation and intervention programmes.

To date, employees across the region have logged more than 800 safety observations and interventions, demonstrating a proactive approach to hazard identification, risk prevention and mutual accountability.

“Safety begins with awareness and action,” said Floris Verhagen, Senior Vice President of ROSEN Asia Pacific. “We have to observe our surroundings and intervene when we see something risky. By doing so, we can prevent someone from getting hurt. Ultimately, we look out for one another.”

In addition to its safety achievements, ROSEN continues to strengthen its environmental efforts in Malaysia. Earlier this year, the company partnered with the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) to plant more than 200 mangrove seedlings, contributing to ecosystem restoration, biodiversity conservation and environmental awareness.

Noor Alia Mohd Anif, Head of Marketing & Communications for ROSEN Asia Pacific, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to creating a positive impact beyond its operations.

The achievements were highlighted during HSE Day 2026, themed “HSE Excellence”, which united employees across Asia Pacific through a live regional broadcast focused on safety, well-being and environmental responsibility.
