LIAM re-elects Raymond Lew as its president

At the 50th Annual General Meeting of the Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM), Raymond Lew was re-elected as President, supported by Ben Ng as the new Vice-President for the term 2024/2025.

Lew, CEO of Sun Life Malaysia, brings over 30 years of financial experience, while Ng, CEO of AIA Bhd., has extensive experience in the life insurance industry.

LIAM and other committee members

LIAM also announced seven other committee members. The association plans various activities to commemorate its Golden Anniversary, aiming to support the Financial Sector Blueprint 2022-2026 and promote awareness about life insurance protection.

“This year marks a significant milestone for LIAM as we celebrate our Golden Anniversary. We have an exciting lineup of activities planned throughout the year, ranging from financial education initiatives to social media awareness campaigns, community projects, and CSR and ESG programmes, all aimed at commemorating LIAM’s 50th Anniversary.

“These activities are designed to align with the industry’s aspirations and objectives as we strive to support the Financial Sector Blueprint 2022-2026 agenda,” says LIAM CEO, Mark O’Dell.
