Maxim Rolls Out Smarter App Features

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2, 2026 – Maxim Malaysia has launched the latest version of its ride-hailing app, introducing smart technologies to make bookings faster and pick-up points more precise.

One of the key updates is a location recommendation feature, which automatically suggests frequently used pick-up and drop-off points on the app’s home screen. Passengers can select these locations instantly without re-entering addresses, saving time and streamlining the booking process. Users can also pin favourite spots in the Favorites menu for quick access.

Another major enhancement is the improved Meeting Point function, which provides clearer and more accurate pick-up locations. This update helps drivers avoid restricted areas and reduces confusion in busy environments such as shopping malls, airports, universities and event venues. Passengers benefit from smoother coordination, while drivers can locate riders more efficiently.

Maxim Malaysia director Mohd Hazwan Musley said the new features were developed in response to passenger and driver feedback. “We want every ride to be smoother and more efficient by reducing repeated steps and improving pick-up accuracy,” he noted.

The updated app is available nationwide via the App Store, Google Play, AppGallery, Galaxy Store, GetApps and the Maxim website.
