MET Group’s Sustainability Report: Commitment to net zero

Singapore, 19 December 2024: MET Group has released its first-ever Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) Report 2023, underscoring its commitment to sustainability and the global energy transition. The Swiss-based integrated energy company allocated 70% of its capital expenditure to green projects, leading to a 72% increase in renewable energy output in 2023. Key achievements include:

• Green Energy Investments:

• 403 MW of operating renewable projects by 2023.

• 646 MW of projects in development and construction stages.

• Commitment to a zero-emission future by transitioning from coal to gas by 2030 and from gas to renewables by 2050.
