Mudajaya to Sell Ijok Land for RM36.8 Million to Strengthen Cash Position

KUALA LUMPUR — Mudajaya Group Bhd announced plans to sell four parcels of freehold land in Ijok, Selangor, for a total consideration of RM36.8 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Mudajaya Corporation Bhd (MCB), has entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Serba Wangi (KL) Sdn Bhd.

Mudajaya Ijok Land

The properties, located along Bukit Badong Road in Mukim Ijok, span about eight hectares and comprise both industrial and agricultural lots. Mudajaya originally purchased the land between 1997 and 2012 for approximately RM9.6 million.

The group stated that the disposal is part of its ongoing strategy to monetise non-core assets, unlock value, and strengthen its cash reserves.

Net proceeds will be channelled toward working capital requirements and future investments consistent with Mudajaya’s long-term growth objectives.
