Ramesh-Balakrishnan-CEO-of-OpusSoft
KUALA LUMPUR, 16 Oct — Malaysian software company OpusSoft has launched OpusSoft 3.0, an advanced AI-powered journal management system designed to automate and accelerate the research publishing process.
The new version introduces four major upgrades: automated galley proofs that complete journal formatting in under 10 seconds, an AI reviewer recommendation engine, Crossref integration for DOI registration, and one-click web publishing. These features aim to cut weeks of manual work into seconds while improving accuracy and global journal visibility.
CEO Ramesh Balakrishnan said OpusSoft 3.0 empowers editorial teams to boost efficiency and consistency across all stages of publication. The platform is already used by several Malaysian journals, including the Malaysian Journal of Microbiology and Tropical Biomedicine.
Supported by a Cradle Fund grant, OpusSoft plans regional expansion within 12 months, introducing multilingual and customizable features for Southeast Asian publishers.
