Vertiv Expands Asia Footprint with New Manufacturing Facility in Johor, Malaysia

JOHOR, Malaysia, 11 December 2025 – Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global leader in critical digital infrastructure, has unveiled plans for a new manufacturing facility in Johor, Malaysia, set to be fully operational in Q1 2026. The plant will produce power and thermal management solutions, including coolant distribution units (CDUs), modular prefabricated data centers, supporting surging demand for AI and high-density computing.

Vertiv Expands

The expansion enhances Vertiv’s regional capacity, enabling faster delivery and scalability amid AI growth. Johor’s strategic location near Singapore, robust logistics, and reliable utilities make it ideal.

Andrew Whall, Vice President of Operations at Vertiv Asia, highlighted the facility’s role in providing scale and flexibility. It is expected to create up to 500 skilled local jobs over three years, utilising advanced automation for efficiency and sustainability.
