Worldwide Holdings’ Daunan Worldwide recognized as Best Wellness Township Development

Petaling Jaya, 14 June 2024 – Selangor’s prominent conglomerate, Worldwide Holdings Berhad (WHB), through its division Worldwide Property, has been awarded the title of ‘Best Wellness Township Development’ for its project Daunan Worldwide. This accolade was  presented at the 4th ASEAN Property Developer Awards 2023/2024, organized by Des Prix Infinitus Media, which celebrates excellence in the property sector across Southeast Asia. Sr. Hamyzar Toha, Chief Operating Officer of Worldwide Property, accepted the award on behalf  of WHB during the Awards Gala Dinner held at One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. 

Launched in 2019, Daunan Worldwide has previously been honored with the “Landscape  Masterplan Merit Award” by the Malaysia Institute of Landscape Architecture in 2017 and  “The Family-Friendly Award” by StarProperty in 2020. It is a 439-acre township in Alam  Perdana, Selangor, with an approximate GDV of RM2.1 billion. The development comprises 14 phases, with 2 phases successfully completed and handed over, while two subsequent phases are currently under construction. Units for Phase 3, Lemuni, are now open for sale,  targeting young, millennial homebuyers and upgraders. 

Daunan Worldwide distinguished itself in the Best Wellness Township Development category  due to the availability of nearby health facilities, lush green spaces, recreational areas,  sustainability practices, community engagement initiatives such as wellness programs, and  accessibility to major highways. The development also features innovative design, quality  products and ample security measures. Inspired by WHB’s three pillars of wellness – physical,  social, and environmental – each residential phase in Daunan Worldwide includes children’s  playgrounds, landscaped green areas and approximately half an acre of communal urban  farming plots, encouraging residents to engage in social and gardening activities. Additionally,  the township boasts a 13.3-acre man-made lake with four islands connected by a boardwalk,  serving as central gathering spots for residents. Other amenities include a 1.8 km jogging  track, an international-standard football field, a promenade, and a lush landscape by the lake  as its “green lungs.”

In the next half year, WHB plans to launch several new residential phases with Bukit  Bandaraya Shah Alam as the highlight. This will be the last terrace house enclave in the Shah  Alam city centre, offering a pristine environment to prospective buyers, as the development  is located adjacent to the 750-acre Bukit Cherakah Forest Reserve.
