Xero Launches Claude Integration to Power AI-Driven Financial Insights

KUALA LUMPUR, 13 May 2026 — Xero, the global small business platform, has announced its live integration with Anthropic’s Claude, marking a milestone in AI-powered financial intelligence. Building on a partnership unveiled in March, the integration allows Xero’s 4.5 million subscribers across 180 countries to access real-time financial data directly within Claude conversations.

According to Xero’s Chief Product & Technology Officer, Diya Jolly, the move bridges everyday AI tools with Xero’s trusted financial intelligence, enabling users to check cash positions, overdue invoices, or profit tracking seamlessly. Unlike static exports, Claude now provides live data linked back to Xero for immediate action.

The integration offers insights into revenue and profit, contacts and receivables, and financial position, enhancing clarity for small businesses and advisors. Developers are also working on a future version with in-lens display capabilities.

This collaboration positions Xero as a leader in embedding AI into financial workflows, redefining how businesses manage strategy and operations.
