Bridgenet Solutions addresses cybersecurity threats in Malaysia
Kaspersky’s report reveals significant challenges faced by industrial companies with geographically distributed infrastructures, such as factories and branch offices.
Around one-third of these businesses encounter frequent network problems, with 45% experiencing issues several times a month. Only 12% report problems once a year or less. The challenges include network failures, poor service performance, and inadequate connection capacity.
The report highlights that 49% of manufacturers find cybersecurity incident detection and resolution particularly difficult, while 46% struggle with security measure implementation and 42% with establishing a cohesive security policy.
Almost 30% of respondents face network issues regularly, with 38% experiencing them 1-3 times a month, and 7% weekly. In terms of recovery time, 74% of companies restore their networks within 1-5 hours, though 10% take up to a full working day. These downtimes can lead to severe financial losses, making swift problem prevention and resolution critical for minimizing damages.
