KUALA LUMPUR, 9 Dec 2025 – Bargain hunters returned to Bursa Malaysia today, pushing the FBM KLCI up 1.39 points or 0.09% to 1,614.17 and snapping a four-day decline. The benchmark fluctuated between 1,620.73 and 1,606.23.
Across the exchange, 470 stocks rose, 578 fell and 583 remained unchanged, with 3.17 billion shares worth RM2.37 billion traded. Gains in blue chips such as F&N (+44 sen), PETRONAS Gas (+18 sen) and RHB Bank (+15 sen) led the recovery. Market sentiment stayed cautious ahead of the US Federal Reserve’s policy decision. Regionally, most Asian indices ended lower.
