Hop Into The Bountiful Year Of The Rabbit At IPC Shopping Centre

PRNewswire — aIPC Shopping Centre kicks off its Lunar New Year celebrations by transforming Ӓndra’s Enchanting Garden from winter to spring to usher in the year of the Rabbit. From now until 5th February 2023, shoppers are set to enjoy special Chinese New Year promotions and great rewards when they shop at IPC Shopping Centre.

Inspired by the five elements in the Chinese metaphysics – Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth, IPC believes that human life parallels the laws of nature, and is therefore intertwined.

This illustrates our relationship with the environment where every action of ours has an equal reaction and we should help preserve mother nature to ensure our future. IPC continues their lead in sustainability by incorporating sustainable materials such as compressed wood boards, paper and fabric in their Christmas mall decorations, then reuses and transforms them for Chinese New Year use.

With this, IPC hopes to inspire shoppers to do their part for nature this festive season through reducing, reusing and recycling, and together, to achieve balance towards a more sustainable world that everyone can thrive in.

Ms Karyn Lim, General Manager of IPC Shopping Centre, said, “Our sustainable Christmas decorations received positive feedback from shoppers, and we are pleased to able to continue reusing the decorations to further showcase our creative and innovative sustainable efforts as we transform to Chinese New Year.

“Ushering in the year of the Rabbit, we keep in mind what the Rabbit symbolizes and that is longevity, peace and prosperity and we want to embody these values, and more in everything that we do in IPC. We hope to encourage shoppers to be sustainable by setting an example while showing them a good time, without compromise.”

Shoppers will enjoy fun activities such as sustainability-driven kid workshops for Små Club members, festive CNY performances such with lion dance as well as kid’s favourite mascots – God of Prosperity and Små Club Buddies who will be making their rounds for a meet and greet.

There will also be a CNY Bazaar held at the concourse and Tack Club members who spend a minimum of RM388 in two receipts on the same day can redeem their very own rainbow calligraphy artwork on 14th and 15th January at the experiential lot opposite King Koil on Level 1.
