Cancer Survivor Month
Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur (PHKL) marks Cancer Survivor Month with a series of events showcasing its commitment to supporting survivors.
A fundraising movie night featuring Rain Town, a poignant indie film, will raise funds for breast cancer survivors. Directed by Tunku Mona Riza, the film mirrors the resilience of survivors.
Additionally, PHKL launches a cancer awareness campaign from June 19-21, encouraging early detection through screenings across various locations. Participants pledging commitment to preventive healthcare receive incentives, including health screening vouchers and giveaways.
With a goal of 500 pledges, PHKL aims to drive awareness on the importance of preventive screenings, promoting better healthcare practices among Malaysians. For more details and to pledge, visit the PHKL cancer website.
