Digital adoption among SMEs: Joint effort by Public Bank and Maxis

Maxis Bhd and Public Bank Bhd have signed an MOU to boost digital adoption among Malaysian SMEs. The collaboration aims to provide SMEs with access to digital solutions and financial assistance.

Public Bank’s CEO, Datuk Tay Ah Lek, highlighted the partnership’s goal of offering top-notch financial and technology support to SMEs. Maxis‘ CEO, Goh Seow Eng, emphasized their commitment to SMEs’ digitalization, aiming to simplify the process and enable business growth.

Pushing for Digital Adoption

Both companies will engage customers through various activities, including awareness talks at Public Bank branches. Maxis Business will become the telco and digital partner in Public Bank’s SME Assist Programme, offering services like internet, payments, e-commerce, and cybersecurity.

Additionally, they will assist SMEs in applying for government grants and accessing financial solutions from Public Bank.
