Penang Eastern and Oriental Bhd (E&O), in collaboration with Cloud Club, hosted the Fa-La-La Christmas Market, Andaman Island’s first large-scale community Christmas event. Held over three days, the event attracted approximately 30,000 visitors and featured 60 vendor booths showcasing a variety of products, from artisanal gifts to pet-friendly items.
Inspired by the North Pole’s charm, the event offered interactive activities such as snowing sessions, carol singing, live music, workshops, and Santa meet-and-greets, delighting attendees of all ages. The snowing sessions were a standout feature, creating a magical winter wonderland experience for Penangites.
Dato’ Seri Tee Eng Ho, Executive Chairman of E&O Berhad, highlighted the event as a platform to showcase Andaman Island’s eco-conscious living and support local entrepreneurs. He also expressed plans to make the celebration an annual tradition to foster community engagement and enhance Penang’s festive calendar.
