Farhash Wafa Salvador, the executive chairman of Key Alliance Group Bhd, became a substantial shareholder by acquiring 6.8 million shares (5.55% stake) for RM1.99 million at 29.26 sen per share on April 25, 2025. Key Alliance, a loss-making IT services provider, saw its shares close at 30 sen, up 5.3%, valuing the company at RM36.8 million. Farhash, a former aide to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, was appointed chairman in January 2025, following the resignation of the previous chairman in September 2023. Roy Ho Yew Kee, the largest shareholder with a 6.17% stake, was redesignated as executive director from managing director in April 2024.
