Farm Fresh Expands into Cambodia with US$68m Dairy Project

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 9, 2026 – Farm Fresh Bhd is investing US$68 million (RM290 million) to build Cambodia’s largest dairy farm and its first integrated fresh milk production and processing facility.

The project, named Farm Fresh Pursat, will be developed in partnership with Alpha Group and Sonavith Co Ltd following a land lease agreement signed with the Pursat Provincial Administration on Aug 5. Located in Veal Veng district, the 1,000-hectare site will feature international-standard dairy farms, modern cattle-rearing facilities, and a milk processing plant to supply Cambodia’s domestic market.

Farm Fresh group CEO Loi Tuan Ee said the investment reflects the company’s long-term commitment to supporting Cambodia’s agricultural development while creating a sustainable dairy ecosystem. The project aims to strengthen food security, reduce reliance on imports, and eventually expand exports to regional markets. It will also generate jobs, transfer technology, and position Pursat as a new dairy hub in Southeast Asia.
