FedEx Wins Sustainability and CSR Award for Community Engagement Support in Malaysia

FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Sustainability and CSR Malaysia Awards 2023’ in the category of ‘Best in Community Engagement Support’. This is the third consecutive time FedEx has been recognized with this award.

FedEx was recognized for:

  • Nurturing young talent and promoting an entrepreneurial mindset through the FedEx Express/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge, benefiting over 8,600 students in Malaysia.
  • Sustainability initiatives, including collaborating with Treat Every Environment Special (TrEES) and the Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) to rebuild a perimeter wall using sustainable recycled materials.
  • The introduction of electric vehicles (EVs) to its fleet as part of its goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2040.
