Foodpanda Malaysia and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support financial security for 50,000 delivery partners.

Through the i-Saraan program, these gig workers can now contribute monthly to their EPF accounts, ensuring a more secure future.

The collaboration aims to improve retirement planning and savings among delivery partners, with educational initiatives, registration assistance, and automated contribution options.

The MoU was signed by EPF COO Mr. Sazaliza Zainuddin and food panda Malaysia’s Director of Operations Mr. Shubham Saran, who emphasized the importance of enhancing delivery partners’ experience and support.

“Our delivery partners play an integral role in our ecosystem. As part of our panda hearts initiative, we are continuing to improve what we’re doing to enhance their delivery experience. We aim to provide our delivery partners with the resources and support they need to thrive in their roles,” he says.
