KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 22, 2026 — Foreign investors recorded RM127 million net inflows on Bursa Malaysia for the week ended Sept 18, reversing the prior week’s outflows, according to BIMB Securities Research.
Buying was concentrated in plantation counters such as SD Guthrie Bhd, while heavy selling hit RHB Bank Bhd. Local institutions remained net sellers with RM368 million outflows, while retail investors supported the market with RM241 million net buying.
Foreign Investors
Technology was the best‑performing sector, rising 1.2% week‑on‑week, while industrial products and property fell 1.9%. Major inflows went to Tenaga Nasional, Guthrie, Westports, Gamuda and IJM Corp.
