KUALA LUMPUR, 22 Sept 2026 – FWD Malaysia has announced a charitable grant for GivingHub, a local social impact and charitable organisation. The grant aims to benefit 170 low-income families with health education and financial literacy workshops as well as conduct cancer screening and consultation sessions.
Aman Chowla, Country Chief Executive Officer of FWD said, “As we celebrate FWD’s 13th anniversary, this initiative reflects our commitment to serving the communities that have placed their trust in us over the years. At FWD, we believe that creating meaningful impact goes beyond providing protection. It is about helping people build healthier, more resilient and financially secure futures.
“This initiative is part of our broader commitment to empowering underserved communities and addressing real needs where we can make a meaningful difference. Together with our people and partners, we hope to create a positive and lasting impact for the communities we serve,” he said.
Through the grant, FWD and GivingHub will deliver Program SEDIABersedia: Hari Ini. Terlindung Esok, a programme designed to help 170 B40 families build healthier, more financially resilient futures. The initiative combines nutrition and healthy living education, financial literacy workshops and cancer screening and consultation services to improve health awareness, encourage positive behavioural change, and strengthen preparedness for unexpected life events.

In August 2026, FWD Group marked its 13th anniversary by announcing charitable grants dedicated to supporting more than 13,000 people in communities across Asia.
Established in 2013 with a mission to move the life insurance industry in a new direction, FWD Group has grown from its early operations in Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Thailand into a pan-Asian life and health insurer serving millions of customers and their families across 10 markets.
