Helipower Boosts Fleet with New Airbus H125 for Extreme Ops
Geelong, Australia, March 30, 2025 — North Queensland’s Helipower has added a new Airbus H125 helicopter to its fleet of five, enhancing its rural, remote, and offshore services from bases in Townsville, Rockhampton, and Horn Island. The H125, known for its reliability in extreme conditions, features a touchscreen Garmin G500H TXi cockpit and VEMD for streamlined pilot monitoring. With over 4,300 H125s worldwide and an 80% market share in its class, it’s a proven workhorse. Helipower’s Director and Chief Pilot, Kelly Forster, praised its suitability for Queensland’s hot, humid climate.
