ICW and BuildXpo Malaysia 2026 preview: New platforms, ideas and innovations

ICW & BuildXpo Malaysia 2026 will take place from 10–12 November 2026 at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur, bringing together the 28th edition of International Construction Week (ICW), the fourth BuildXpo Malaysia, and the inaugural co-location of Glasstech Asia & Fenestration Asia (GAFA). Anchored by “Beyond Limits”, the event aims to attract 250 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions, 17,000 trade visitors and RM1.5 billion in projected trade value, building on last year’s strong performance.

This year’s programme places greater emphasis on knowledge sharing, innovation, technical excellence and industry collaboration, featuring conferences, seminars, technical visits and new platforms such as Build ProPass and Build360. The debut of GAFA 2026 will further broaden the event’s focus to glass, façades and building envelope technologies, while initiatives such as QUEST Day, the ASEAN Crane Lifting Planning Competition and MSSA Open Ideas Competition will provide additional opportunities for industry engagement and professional development.
