Isetan Singapore slowly reducing its presence

Isetan Singapore has been closing branches, notably Tampines (Nov 2025) and previously Westgate (2020) and Parkway Parade (2022), due to expiring leases, rising rents, and e-commerce competition, but they maintain operations at Shaw House (Orchard Road) and Nex (Serangoon).

The Tampines closure followed a significant moving-out sale, marking a scaling back of their presence in Singapore.

It also announced it will end operations at Nex mall in Serangoon by April 2026, as announced by the mall on Facebook on December 8.
