Malaysia records RM426.7 billion in approved investments for 2025

Malaysia recorded RM426.7 billion in approved investments in 2025, the highest level ever achieved, reflecting strong investor confidence in the country’s economic direction. The investments represented an 11% increase compared with 2024, according to government data. 

Malaysia posts record RM426.7 billion approved investments in 2025

A total of 8,390 projects were approved nationwide, with the potential to create more than 244,000 new job opportunities for Malaysians, highlighting continued expansion across manufacturing, services and primary sectors. 

Officials said both domestic and foreign investments contributed strongly, signalling global confidence in Malaysia’s policies and long-term economic outlook.
