Maybank Appoints Rohaya Yusof as Director, Redeems RM1.7b Sukuk

Maybank has named Rohaya Mohammad Yusof as independent non-executive director effective Feb 1, 2026. A seasoned investment professional, Rohaya was EPF’s chief investment officer from 2020 to 2025 and held key roles in private markets, capital markets, and corporate finance.

She also serves on the boards of Tenaga Nasional and Malaysia Airports. Separately, Maybank announced the full redemption of its RM1.7 billion subordinated sukuk Murabahah on its first call date, Jan 30, 2026.
