Structured in both conventional and Shariah‑compliant formats, the note will fund integrated solar photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage system (ESS) projects for commercial and industrial users under the Self‑Consumption (SELCO) framework.
NECSA‑I Energy Investment
Proceeds will support NEC Energy Systems, which delivers reliable 24/7 energy supply to factories, logistics hubs, and data centres through long‑term Energy‑as‑a‑Service agreements. Offering a 12% annual profit rate with quarterly distributions over 36 months, the asset‑backed structure provides predictable cashflows and disciplined capital deployment. NCAP CEO Asmi Haron said renewable energy is emerging as a compelling asset class, while Nexgram Holdings’ Henry Cheang emphasized governance and transparency.
