Ni Hsin EV Tech Partners with Standard Energy Asia to Expand EBIXON Electric Motorcycles Across Northern Malaysia

Ni Hsin EV Tech Sdn. Bhd. (NHEVT), a subsidiary of Ni Hsin Group Berhad, has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Standard Energy Asia Sdn Bhd (SEA) to promote and market NHEVT’s EBIXON electric motorcycles in Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah, and Perlis.

The partnership aims to increase NHEVT’s market share in the EV sector while supporting Malaysia’s National Low Carbon Cities 2030 plan by encouraging the use of zero-emission, eco-friendly vehicles.

SEA will leverage its established marketing network to sell EBIXON motorcycles to the public, local governments, and councils through direct purchase and rent-to-own packages. The initiative also includes a focus on renting the EV motorcycles to both local and international tourists, boosting eco-friendly tourism.

Dr. Ahmad Zaharuddin Sani, Executive Director of SEA, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “This collaboration has come in at the right time, and we look forward to a successful partnership in creating a pathway to a greener future.” He emphasized the importance of this collaboration in driving sustainable practices and supporting Malaysia’s green initiatives.

With government backing for electric vehicles, the Malaysian EV two-wheeler market is expected to grow at a 15.4% CAGR from 2021 to 2027, further enhancing the prospects of this partnership.
