Paris Baguette Expands Global Reach with First Halal Food Hub in Malaysia
Paris Baguette, the renowned international bakery brand under SPC Group, has officially launched its first Halal food hub in Johor, Malaysia, marking a significant step in its global expansion. The facility, a RM260 million investment, aims to strengthen the brand’s supply chain and meet the growing demand for high-quality Halal-certified bakery products worldwide.
The grand opening was attended by Johor’s Menteri Besar, Dato’ Onn Hafiz Ghazi, and Mr. Yeo Seung-bae, Ambassador of Korea to Malaysia. The facility, featuring seven advanced production lines capable of producing 100 million bakery products annually, is strategically positioned within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), allowing seamless access to key markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Australia.
SPC Group Chairman, Mr. Hur Young In, emphasized that the hub represents more than just an expansion, stating, “It symbolizes our commitment to building strong connections with local communities, creating jobs, and fostering collaboration.” The initiative is expected to boost Johor’s economy, enhance Malaysia’s reputation as a global leader in Halal food production, and further solidify the nation’s status as a prime destination for Halal investments.
This move aligns with Paris Baguette’s vision of global innovation and quality, ensuring that its bakery products meet the strictest Halal, hygiene, and safety standards while reaching international customers more efficiently.
