Led by Enforcement Director Noorazrein Noorazlan Ong, officers have been patrolling the island, replacing torn flags tied to poles and road signs, while helping shop owners position flags at their entrances. A video of the initiative, posted on MBPP’s Facebook page on Aug 23, has garnered over 13,000 likes and 1,000 comments. Netizens lauded the council’s dignified, compassionate approach, contrasting it with past viral incidents of harsh enforcement.
