Proton Opens Bookings for All-New Saga, Ushering in a New Era of Malaysian Engineering
Proton has officially opened bookings for the All-New Saga, marking a major milestone in Malaysian automotive engineering. Built on the new Advanced Modular Architecture (AMA) platform, it is the first model fully designed, engineered, and validated in Malaysia, showcasing Proton’s growing independence and technological maturity.
Powered by a new i-GT 1.5L engine paired with a CVT, the All-New Saga delivers improved performance, safety, and fuel efficiency of 4.9L/100km. It also features Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), six airbags, and a Reinforced Safety Structure for enhanced protection. The model introduces next-generation connectivity with a 16-inch integrated dual screen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
Available in three variants and five colours, prices range from RM40,000 to RM50,000. Early buyers before December 31, 2025, will enjoy free service and a limited-edition Touch ‘n Go card.
